Monday…..Monday….

If you ever heard the song Monday, Monday written by John Edmund Phillips and made famous by the Mama’s and Papa’s, you can sing along with me this line, ” Monday, Monday, can’t trust that day, sometimes it just turns out that way! Oh Monday morning, you gave me no warning of what was to be…..”

I promised myself ,when I left my job of twenty years, that Monday morning was going to be a good day for me.

Anybody who has the sole responsibility for a job and has the week-end off can relate to the dread felt on Monday’s.

What I have discovered was that I didn’t have to wait till I left a job, to change how I viewed Monday’s.

Neither do you! Make Monday your day. View it your way!

Have a good Monday!

Traveling on Mission

The word mission is defined as a assignment carried out, particularly involving travel.

My husband A.B.and I are missionaries with A/G Maps. More specifically, RV Maps. We have been on board since 2017.

We continually stand amazed at these mostly senior members, of the body of Christ. They are phenomenal! Some of them have actually called us youngsters, and we are in our sixties!

The Glory of God is over them on a daily basis. He protects them as they travel from place to place, he protects them as they climb up on roofs, dig ditches, paint in high places, and bend for extended periods of times.

He blesses them to bless others with their skills and gifts. In some assignments, the women work beside the men, doing numerous things related to construction, remodeling, sanding, painting and a plethora of necessities where churches, centers, and bible camps need help. They can get it done!

In other ways these men & women contribute with their gifts and abilities to minister as needed.

You don’t have to look far to see servant hood, humility, and sacrifice displayed.

You will easily find members of the Fivefold Ministries among the RV’ers. There are Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Teachers, and Evangelist. You have to be observant though. It’s not something you know until you work alongside one of them.

I mean this in the most humble way. They do not and will not touch God’s glory. But, some of them are God’s Generals.

I hesitate to say it, not because it’s not true, but because, the true ones won’t say it. They are at the age in life, where they do not need or want anyone to build them up.

I’m not trying to do that. But, I am trying to honor them, and this ministry. It is God ordained and we are so honored to be apart of it.

Having been Pastors of a small church, we understand the need for helping these churches, and ministries.

A.B. and I are especially drawn to the smaller venues, because we know the struggle of small ministries and businesses. It’s a part of our dream to come alongside and help, in anyway we can.

Servanthood. Sacrifice. Humility.

That is not just what I have observed, I keep hearing pastors, and leaders say this about the, ‘RV Mappers.’

AB and I call this season in our ministry, “Living the Dream.” Not because we enjoy traveling, of course we do, but it because we travel on mission.

Serving is truly the greatest way to preach the gospel.

In the past, we have planted a church, we have served as Pastors in full time ministry, where we took Jesus to the Street. We also have served as leadership and staff in our home church in both Evangelism, and Missions.

In this season of our lives, as we begin to retire from our occupations, we simply are excited that we are not retiring from preaching the gospel! And, sometimes we even get to use words!

We are blessed to be a blessing!

Because it needs to be said

There is a great onslaught of deception being released right now into the world.

The Christian believer has always encountered misunderstanding as we share our faith in God.

It is just one of the things that goes along with being made righteous.

Case in point. The fact that we are made righteous through faith and proclaim that of ourselves, separates us from those who have not chosen to follow Jesus.

Legal righteousness was made available once and for all on the cross. Jesus took our sin and gave us opportunity for atonement. He took our punishment and made forgiveness possible. However, we all must make the choice to accept or reject this truth.

When we make the choice to accept Jesus redemption by faith, we are legally adopted into the family of God. We are new creatures. New creatures, because we belong in God’s world, where the Spirit of God rules.

We are made righteous legally, by Jesus death. That’s a fact. The scripture is fulfilled by Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:21 God made him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God.

The word might in that scripture means a possibility based on a condition not fulfilled.

Legal Righteousness is granted through faith in Christ redemption. Yet, righteousness also must be a lifestyle experienced and walked out by faith in Christ.

We cannot accept any alternative lifestyle and continue in true godly righteousness.

We all know, that in a family we can have the same mother and father, the same name, the same heritage and one child be in agreement with family values and the other completely opposite.

It’s is the same in the family of God. There is nothing you can do about another persons choice once they reach the age of accountability.

The choice not to follow the family order causes division, strife, and hurt, and loss of relationship.

Nevertheless, they must be allowed to choose. God does not force people to do things his way. He simply makes his way clear.

Blessing comes from reconciliation. Curses, the opposite of blessings, come from rebellion to his clear path. The sad thing about choosing the wrong path is that it leads to death.

That’s why even though we may be legally made righteous by our faith in Christ, we must understand that that’s not the end of our life. We still have to follow God’s way of doing things.

As the family of God we have the calling to be ambassadors for God.

We must continue to make the appeal for restoration. Remembering, as long as someone has breath they have opportunity to choose Life.

It’s vital that rebellion be dealt with. Rebellion will not be justified by Jesus, and the rebellious will receive wrath and judgement. Yet, we cannot force the decision on a person. Repentance has to be chosen by the individual person.

We also as Christ Ambassadors cannot allow a choice to be forced upon us that would disagree with God’s Covenant with us. We cannot veer off the path to rescue someone who has made the choice to reject God.

There will be those in our earthly family unit, who will willingly reject God’s word, and follow the worlds ways.

We cannot agree with their ‘truths.’ We must stay on God’s path. It’s vital to their eternal life.

Though we pray, and believe God to snatch them back from the fire, we cannot in any way, shape or form, agree with rebellion. Rebellion is seen as witchcraft to God. Witchcraft is evil. It rejects Gods truth.

It has to be said. ” We must quit taking rejection of the world personally, even if your loved one lives and abides in this world. Though we have compassion for their results, we can alleviate them, except that we lead them to repentance of sin, into the reconciliation of Christ by faith. It is the only way.

We live in God’s world and we do God’s word. This in itself will cause a separation from others. But the good news is that you have the presence of God, and all his resources to help you. He’s waiting for you to call upon him!

Aligning with God in 2019

This blog post is a little different from my usual post. I am going to share what I have been hearing from the Holy Spirit.

I am doing my best as a daughter of grace to remain in the truth of his word. My goal is to encourage others in the truth of God’s word.

This post should not be read as anything other than encouragement to align with the Kingdom of God.

We must align with order and judgement as we enter the year 2019.

The new order will continue. I’m not talking about the new world order. It’s not yet.

Thankfully, our president refused to participate and put a big clink in that flow of things. Thank God for our our current leadership’s determination. May he keep ringing the bell!

Our country alignment makes our preparation as families alignment easier. We must get our household in order.

God will speak to the household of faith first. We must realize that he will judge his people first. We are blessed to be a blessing. To whom much is given, much is required.

Don’t fear God’s judgement. When God judges a matter, it is for your salvation. He is cleansing and putting things in order.

Judgement from God is cleansing under the covenant of grace.

Cleansing precedes blessing.

God will bring judgement as a cleansing, and not as a wrath for his people. God has not appointed us to wrath. We are appointed to Salvation.

Salvation is inclusive, meaning anyone has opportunity to enter eternal life, by faith in Jesus Christ.

We also have opportunity for deliverance, protection, healing, abundant blessings, but these benefits of salvation are not automatic. You have to press into the truth of His word and take it by faith. Do not harden your hearts.

Hebrews 3:7 -8 As the Holy Spirit says: Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, in times of testing in the desert.

We must believe by faith and we also sustain our promises by faith.

We have to remain in the family of God, with the understanding of Jesus being the first born of many brethren.

Brethren means of the same womb. Jesus is Holy, we remain in him and we are holy. As I understand it, the family of God, the Kingdom of God are in one in the same. We are in relationship, and we are part of his kingdom.

Luke 18:8 God will avenge his people, nevertheless, when the Son of man comes, shall he find faith on the earth?

Should we not examine our lives and fortify our souls?

In that same passage, chapter 18 of Luke, Jesus told a parable about the Pharisee and the publican, as a example of teaching us that we cannot trust in ourselves to be righteous, and therefore despise others.

We as faith filled believers, should realize the order: the first will be last and the last first in God’s kingdom, in God’s family.

The kingdom of God is doing the will of God.

What we can expect as God continues doing things his way in 2019.

Expect addition to the Gods kingdom in 2019.

Those crying out for mercy will be justified.

They will get the same rewards of those who stood with God from the beginning. They will receive both mercy and grace. Expect it!

Don’t be afraid to pray for God to judge your family and your nation.

Merciful judging by a good judge is both cleansing and strengthening.

Thank God for his righteous judgement!

Again 2019 will bring: Perfect order and perfect waiting period. Expect it!

Be prepared for a marathon!

Lets be real, most Christians usually stay in faith with sprints! But, Lord, when we have to run a marathon…

We are in need of both his mercy and his grace!

Expect abundant mercy and grace for the race!

Just as His mercy holds back judgement in wrath, His Grace beckons us and holds the door open, so we might come into his presence, and receive his power by the Holy Ghost.

We will need his presence and his power in our lives more than ever!

His presence is your assurance that you will successfully run the race toward the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Don’t try to do it alone!

Be prepared for to make a stand for righteousness.

Avoid self- righteousness. If you don’t know the difference, ( it’s rampant in the hour we live in,) stay aligned with the word of God. It’s divinely inspired. Don’t let nobody tell you different.

Expect 2020 to be the year of multiplication. Double digit multiplication.

Glory to God! We have been aligning since the year 2000.

The number 20 biblically means perfect waiting period! And when we hit 2020 we will experience compound multiplication in every area of life.

20, 20 will be a season of completeness and perfection.

Think 20-20 vision!

Think Biblically, Jacob took possession of all after 20 years!

Think Israel, who had to wait 20 years for the Ark of the Covenant but they got it back!

Think, God raised up Deborah and Barak to give 20 years peace!

I want all 4 things in my life:

Clear faith vision

Possession of all our promises

God’s full presence abiding in my spirit, body, soul. Wholeness

The reign of Peace!

Come Lord , Jesus come!

The best is yet to come!

Three year Spiritual Alignment

I try to journal daily, and I like looking back on the year. I love to see how God answered prayers and intervened. It also gives me confidence, when I notice that I hear him correctly. It helps me see the times I was acting out of emotions instead of my anointing. It encourages me to stay focused on God’s ability to keep the things I have committed to him.

According to my notes, overall the year 2017 wasn’t much fun! Yet, as I look closer somethings were not as bad as they appeared.

Hmmm…reminds me of what is written on the mirror of my car, “Objects may be closer than they appear.”

That just means you can’t depend on first glance situations. Sometimes you got to wait, and take time before you respond. Think twice.

At first glance, it appears in 2017 that hell targeted my family.

However, biblically, 2017 was prophesied and confirmed as a time to overcome the enemy, and obtain the victory.

Overcoming the enemy and getting the victory means there will be skirmishes and battles!

When we miss those facts, we can’t be fully prepared to hold to our faith, remaining grounded and settled, when we are attacked.

We should not misinterpret completeness and rest as automatic. His promises are yes and amen, but we will have to stand on the promise by faith to enforce it.

We did emerge and come out victorious at the end of the year. But, I have to confess that we should have expected the fight! We should have been more aware!

Victory is defined as the act of defeating an opponent in a battle, or competition.

The enemy came against my family harder than the usual in 2017 . The battle was intense! However, let me say this, ” His mercy and grace was greater!”

God delivered us, each and every time, with Red Sea types of experiences! Just when we thought it was over, he stepped in! Thank you Jesus!

Here is what we stood on When things went contrary, “It might be true, but never forget the God factor. ”

When you are in the midst of your circumstance, don’t forget God specializes in ‘ turn arounds.”

Looking back, I realize our biggest battle was to remain in faith and trust that what God said he would do, he would do. We got down a few times, but we got back up! We have a great church family!

Then came the year 2018.

Most people breathed a sigh of relief, quoting that the number 8 was the year of new beginnings!

Well, that is true, but because it is 18 not 8, it also means a new order. That puts more emphasis on order.

So again, let’s be aware. Not beware, but wake up and be aware of what’s going on!

Most people, including many Christians didn’t like who God used to administer the year of new order in our nation. That’s nothing new! Strong leadership offends.

Nevertheless, true Christians, submit under the kingdom of God. We are called to seek first His Kingdom in Matthew 6:33.

Let me just say this: “We must act according to his word, not the world. As a reminder, His kingdom means doing things God’s way! His word is his will. So Christians, we are going to have to get with it in the next few years.”

The number 18 in the Bible also symbolizes bondage.

God’s people Israel as a nation and experienced the Red Sea experience with Moses as a leader. He was according to God, the most humble of men.

Under Moses leadership, they received the victory and began the journey to the land God promised, yet they tried God and Moses.

The people so frustrated Moses, he acted out of his emotions, instead of his anointing and it cost him. Several times!

Joshua, actually led the people into the promised land.

Here is the lesson: Some of God’s children, didn’t recognize the potential to lose their new found freedom.

Some actually preferred bondage because it was easier. (Shocking but true.)

Therefore, God wasn’t pleased. Only two, ( Joshua and Caleb), actually took authority and recognized it was a spiritual battle to trust and believe by faith. They were militant in the faith.

The others went blindly back into bondage, because of fear and unbelief.

I can’t help but see a parallel in America! Think back to when we first became America, the land of the free. Think about how we left bondage! Think of how we had a great covenant (constitution) that was for all the people. Only to go right back into bondage for years!

We must understand that the battle over our nation right now is not for the greater good!

Also, it is not over our refusal to welcome foreigners.

The true people of America has always been gracious!

America was and is very pro- life! America to this day is multi-cultural. It’s who we are!

The battle is for the control of our Freedom. The battle is over freedom to worship our one true God.

The battle will be in years to come, over America’s and Israel’s freedom and blessings.

I got to ask, ” If the foundation be destroyed what can the righteous do?” Psalms 11:3

Though Israel went back into bondage, a good while later, God freed Israel through the period of the judges!

It’s probably not a coincidence that the last quarter of 2018 closed confirming a judge.

The judges are important in keeping our constitution and freedoms.

What then can we do?

As we prepare for 2019, we should celebrate it as the year of God’s perfect order and judgement!

Celebrate that God is still on the throne! He is our good and gracious judge!

Individually and corporately, we must examine our lives. Determine like Joshua, ” As for me and my house we are going to serve the Lord.”

Be prepared! Be aware! Be like Christ!

Operate under the the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

Identifying your Dream

Some things you hear, just stick in your spirit. Like, ” you can’t dream while in survival mode.”

I heard this on the show, America’s Got Talented.

I listened as a man was preparing to sing. He was explaining why he was doing the show. He said it was to inspire his six children to pursue their dreams.

In his instance, he and his wife adopted the children. He obviously knew his influence could be big in their lives. He decided to do what it took to realize his own dreams. Because, he said, ” you can’t dream in survival mode.”

He used his voice to sing, thereby creating a stronger voice, and hopefully a strong influence, in his children’s lives.

His dream then, was to help these children live better lives! To thrive, not just survive.

These children gave him the motivation and courage to enter the contest. And he was good, a really good singer.

His dream inspired me.

As a Christ follower, I believe survival in this world is made possible by Jesus. We are adopted into the family of God through our faith in him.

He became our voice, when we couldn’t speak for ourselves. When we couldn’t dream, he made promises to us through his word.

I learned to trust him and every word in the Bible as truth.

From that truth came my dream. My dream is to help others dream come true.

It may sound self sacrificing to some. I don’t care.

It’s been my call since I was a child. I know God’s word is truth, and His truth will make us free.

It’s not been a easy call. It’s hard, because many people are blinded to the truth. You usually have to repeat truth over and over. And usually the truth will tick them off, before it actually can set them free.

However frustrating to me this can be, I can’t turn back. I am equipped to do this.

How do I know I am equipped to do this?

Because I am not in survival mode.

I am in life and life abundant. All my needs are met by Jesus, according to his riches in glory.

How do I do this?

I seek to inspire others to move toward God’s way of doing things. It’s the only way I know to live.

I continue in speaking life over them.

I call out the thief who is set on stealing, killing, and destroying not just dreams, but attempting to take their life.

I continuing giving reminders that Jesus said he came to give life and life more abundant.

It’s true right now that many are just existing and living in survival mode. It’s going to get worse in the world. (I will give scriptures next blog.)

It means every Christ follower must dream and dream big!

Leave survival mode! Stop just existing! Live!

We must obtain a greater voice in our nation.

Why?

Because, many of our children are living in survival mode.

If you are not living in survival mode, then you are living abundantly.

That means you can dream.

That means you must pursue your dream. It takes faith. It takes work. It takes having a vision bigger than you are. It takes patience!

Most of all it takes a strong cause!

What’s your strong cause?

That’s your first step to living your dream. Identify your cause.

Please identify your strong cause today to increase the voice of God in your life. A good strong cause is vital to support your dreams!

Unexplainable Glory

Part 2: I can’t do it without him!

Christ is the basis of everything, because he is the underlying foundation. He supplies the relationship by which salvation is received.

If we receive salvation without pursuing daily relationship with God,we lose the joy associated with life in Christ.

John 15:5 I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit, for without me you can do nothing.

If we accept the gift of salvation without embracing and moving forward in our new life, we miss the opportunity to bear much fruit!

Life without fruit can exist, but it’s not very enjoyable.

Can a flower be called a flower, without flowers?

It would still be alive, but it would be called a stem. The stem can be healthy, but without the flowers, there is no beauty or fragrance to enjoy.

The sun is light and we need it to live, but without it bringing warmth, we would enjoy it less.

Jesus is the vine, and he is life. We are the branches. If we don’t branch out and grow, we will wither.

Verse 6-8 If a man abides not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered, and men gather them, and cast them into fire, and they are burned. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will and it shall be done unto you. Herein, is my father glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be my disciples.

Unfortunately, it happens in many followers of Christ. We believe for salvation but we veer of course, before we ever get the chance to enter the joy of our salvation.

If we don’t stay in the new man life, we branch out, or should I say we launch out from the vine.

When we launch out from our salvation and attempt to do life alone, that is when men, ( the natural man, those without new life) will gather us, casting us in the fire and we will be burned.

Think about that! Relationships usually cause the most pain in our lives. It’s not even the other persons fault, it’s ours because relationship with Jesus is the foundation.

We cannot do life without Jesus!

It’s somewhat like being born as infants, and not receiving the proper care.

Infants cannot care for themselves.

The ideal situation is when they have loving parents, or caretakers, that have knowledge of caring for the infant.

Love is the most important thing the new born needs. If that is in place , then meeting the basic needs is a joy.

Most babies accept this love and care without resistance. The result is that they will grow into adulthood with continual love and guidance.

Those who handle life the best, are the ones who remain in relationship and do not resist training. They bring joy to their parents.

Remain in the vine.

When speaking of having new life in Christ, we understand Christ provided all we need to live on earth, as it is in heaven. And if that wasn’t enough, He gave us Holy Spirit as our comforter.

Why then, can’t we accept his love and care?

Why do we move out on our own?

Is it because we are worldly? Maybe, it’s because we resist the faith?

Faith is the system of principals Jesus authored for believers to follow daily.

If we stay in relationship, relying on his written word for guidance, the daily process works to keep justification flowing in our lives.

Justification is ” just as we never sinned.”

If we stay in justification and do not resist the Holy Spirit, we will grow in the love of Christ and bear much fruit. We will bring glory to our father in heaven.

Romans 5:1 THEREFORE BEING justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

By Him:

We have access into grace.

By Him:

We stand and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

By Him:

We glory in tribulations!

Tribulations will work patience in us.

Tribulation can be seen as growth spurts. In the natural, when children grow quickly, we call them growing pains. Maybe we should see tribulations as “growing pains.”

Growing pains are a part of life, in both the physical and the spiritual. If we aren’t aware of that fact, we may become fearful that something is wrong.

When my son was about 14 years of age, he had severe cramps in his legs due to severe growing pains. Without parental guidance he naturally would have feared he was dying.

When things go wrong in our lives, we have to be determined to look twice at something before going off the deep end, so to speak. We must trust that we will not die physically. And, be willing to kill off natural mindsets.

We leave Romans 5 for a moment, to talk about patience.

Patience is the capacity to accept or tolerate delay or trouble without getting angry, offended or upset.

Getting angry, offended, upset can cause one to move out of the faith required to remain in trust.

James 1:3-4 Know this, the trying of your faith works patience. But, let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

I like the sound of that!

We must let patience have her perfect work that we may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Patience then, has a job to do for us. It’s like the saying, “work smarter not harder.”

The word perfect in Christ centered living means to ‘align,’ with God fully. It’s not you being perfect. That’s probably not going to happen. I’m smiling….

If we develop patience it works for us to align us with the wholeness that will supply all our needs in Christ Jesus.

Because God’s supplies liberally when we ask in faith nothing wavering.

His glory is unexplainable in that his love is unconditional. Most of us don’t understand unconditional love.

Nevertheless, we must accept His salvation through his unconditional love of His Son Jesus Christ.

I’m living the dream!
