Picture Perfect

This looks like a picture and could be a postcard, it so gorgeous and peaceful. It is actually a view from the porch of one of the cabins at Glacier Bible Camp.

It is so blessed here. The people are friendly, loving and fun!

The key theme for this camp is restoration. Families and ministries come here for spiritual renewal.

We are here to serve and it’s a blessing to serve in such a beautiful place.

The Wind at Our Back

We left Kansas in contrary winds.

Ranging from 22-24 mph, the winds were coming at us, at the front and the side, as if to blow us over, and hold us back.

We soon learned it costs you more to go against contrary winds, but you have to go against them.

It was both hands on the wheel kind of day, and frustrating to watch both the miles per hour and miles per gallon drop down.

The closer we got to our destination, the better it got. The wind changed direction and the wind got behind us.

Suddenly, it was like we were being pushed. It was smooth sailing, all quiet, hardly any effort required.

There was a increase, and we picked up speed and miles per gallon. We couldn’t help but see the spiritual revelations in this experience.

When you are in the will of God, the Holy Spirit has your back. He is the wind at your back. You may have contrary circumstances for a moment, but it’s just a season.

Psalms 37:23 The steps of the righteous are ordered by the Lord and he delights in his way.

We would like to give a reminder that Gods plan for our lives, is the best and blessed life.

Jesus still speaks to contrary winds. They still obey. He still expect us to speak to the mountains and see them move.

There is a Irish Blessing or Prayer, we pray over you today, as you read it:

May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the Son Shine warm upon your face until we meet again. May the Lord hold you in the palm of His Hand.

Just follow the Yellow Brick Road

Our first stop on our trip to Montana was in Paducah, Kentucky. We pushed a little bit, excited to get to the gateway of the west, so we didn’t get to visit Paducah. Got there late and left early.

Our next stop was Lawrence, Kansas near Kansas City, Kansas, and Kansas City, Missouri. The two Kansas Cities are 5 minutes apart. Like twins, lol.

The KOA in Kansas City, Missouri was full, because the Royals are playing Houston Astro’s today on Fathers Day. So we stayed in Kansas.

We like to stay KOA because we know what to expect, we don’t need surprises, or poorly run campgrounds.

I always text our son, Donald to let him know where we are stopped for the night. When he found out we were in Kansas, he joked, “keep a eye out for the wizard.”

He didn’t know yet, we were parked on the Yellow Brick Road.

Happy Fathers Day!

God Bless America!

Wagons Ho!

We are on our way to Hungry Horse, Montana. We are volunteering at Glacier Bible Camp with RV Maps.

Shout out to our best friends (aka) Donald & Wendy, for taking care of the home front!

Hungry Horse is approximately 2400 miles away. We are pulling our Jayco home away from home, so there may be a few stops along the way.

A.B. decided to go through Alabama and avoid Atlanta! Might be longer, who cares, right?

I’m going to take pictures and blog about the people, places, and divine appointments we will encounter.

Please feel free to interact and give up any must see’s you’ve experienced, as we make our way to the great state of Montana.

RV Maps Family, and RV’ers let us hear from you!

I’m not dreaming! I’m a visionary

It is exciting to be involved in what God is doing in this hour!

My expectations are  lifted up to the hills from which comes his help, my help come from the Lord.

When I prayed aloud in early morning prayer, I prayed ‘our expectations,” are lifted up to the hills, from which cometh forth our help.

I knew well that the scripture says, ” Our eyes,” yet I repeated it again as our ‘expectations,’ are lifted up, because I sensed a interpretation or a new perspective was being released.

Psalm 121: 1-2 I will lift up my eyes to the hills ( His Holy Dwelling, Mt Zion) from whence shall my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

Our expectation comes many times from what our eyes are seeing.

If we see spiritually, we are looking up . God is always calling us to come up!

Joel 2:28 prophesies in the last days, God will pour out His Spirit on all flesh! Your young man shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams.

Acts 2:17 Confirms Joel 2, we are in the last days, and God is pouring out revelation.  He will continue to do that until the last day!

In the ‘Divinity Code to Understanding Your Dreams and Visions,’ the writers explain that these passages are not talking about ‘natural,’ age. They are speaking spiritually.

Dreams come to everyone, believers and unbelievers alike. God will pour out His Spirit on all flesh. But visions come to believers.

The old man is dead to the things of God. However, God can speak to him in dreams much like Jesus spoke in parables.

Young men refers to those who have been born again, who have what Paul calls the ‘new man.’

2 Corinthians 5:17 ” If anyone is in Christ , he is a new creation, old things have passed away, behold all things have become new.”

The old man was before Christ and the new man is after Christ. The old men dream dreams, the young men see visions.

We have a tendency to think naturally, when God is speaking spiritually.  That’s is why God is speaking to us today!

He speaks to us everyday, in various ways. We just have to listen.

The Old Testament Prophets heard God through parable type dreams and visions. In the New Covenant, all who have ‘ears,’ to hear, will be taught by His Spirit.

Holy Spirit is our representative of the godhead on earth. He helps us connect to heaven!

We must train our ears to hear. We must discern our dreams. We must be open to visions.

Like Habakkuk in chapter 2 : I think I will sit upon my watch and wait and see what God will say to me. Then I will write the vision and make it plain, so that those who read it may run with it!

I am prepared to listen spiritually, whether in dream or vision, or any of the various ways He speaks!

We can count on the truth in Hebrews 4:12  “The word of the Lord is living and powerful, sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

What are we expecting God to do today? Not much? Above and beyond?

We have to lift our ‘eyes,’ and have ‘ears,’ to hear and agree with God for our lives!

Then our mouths will declare His expectations for our lives!

It’s fun to live expecting the best, not the worst!

Now leaving…

We are now leaving Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

This was our first visit and was on my ‘want to,’ visit list. Can’t say it was on my bucket list, but that’s good right?

Loved…..,North Myrtle Beach, probably would have loved the board walk but just too crowded for this trip.

Our favorite restaurant was Sticky Fingers. Best food, best service, hands down.

Our best highlight? Just the opportunity to spend time with our eldest son Donald, and his wife Wendy! We had a blast!

The guys enjoyed golfing, and fishing! Wendy and I loved Tanger Outlets and I’m not going to lie, we loved the Goodwill Centers here! Better than shopping consignment! Lots of name brands!

We are now leaving, Myrtle Beach, with lots of good memories.

Thank you Wolverine Brass for use of your 2 bedroom condo. It was beautiful and peaceful.

God is Fierce

I prayed with someone recently who had a type of nerve damage in their legs and feet. It came upon him after a recent surgery. As I was praying, God revealed to me that this attack came upon him while he was under anesthesia.

God don’t like that! He gets wroth about a enemy that illegally attacks us unaware!

The proof of this is in Psalms 18. I could just eat on this scripture for days, weeks, maybe months! The whole Psalm!

In this scripture, I hear the Lion of Judah’s roar! I believe when God roars, it is heard in heaven, on earth, and yes, under the earth!

This psalm gives us a example of a fiercely, jealous God. I feel I should stop right here , and explain that there is a good jealousy.

Exodus 34:14 For thou shall worship no other God: for the Lord, whose name is jealous, is a jealous God.

I once heard a famous person say that after visiting a Christian church and hearing God was a jealous God , she could no longer align with a God who was jealous.

What must be understood is that there is a biblical, legitimate jealously.

For example, if you try to get between me and my husband, I will not take it lightly. I will take you out!

Also you don’t get between a mama and her child.

Years ago I saw a good example of this while I was at Crystal Lake, (for you in South Georgia, you know where that was, and how long ago.)

There was a dock out in the middle part of lake, where the water was over your head. Many of the older kids would swim out and jump in. One day, some of the older ones allowed their younger cousin to go with them. He couldn’t swim that great, all he could do was ‘dog paddle.’

I was laying in the sun, next to his mama bear. She was keeping her eyes on him, when some unknown person pushed him off the dock. She was smoking a cigarette at the time and she immediately hit that water stroking, cigarette and all!

I watched as she reached her son in no…time at all . She was by him in minutes!

When I saw he was okay, I laughed at her fierceness! I laughed til I cried when I saw her come up out of the water, because that cigarette was still smoking from her mouth!

Years later I read this passage in Psalms 18: 7-8 of the action God took when Gods people called out to him in distress.

7-8: Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundation also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth. There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

I couldn’t help but remember that mama. Now, granted he was not smoking a cigarette, but I think you get the picture.

I am talking about the fierceness of God to help us understand the Kingly anointing that is released as we operate in our priestly anointing on earth.

No matter what your area of ministry is, whether you are serving as a minister, entrepreneur, soldier, politics, etc, you are as a Christian, operating as the Royal Priesthood.

That is powerful, but we also need to walk in our kingly anointing.

The kingly anointing is not just for leaders. It’s for the corporate body of Christ! It’s for victory in everyday life.

We must rule and reign, and allow the roar of the Lion of Judah, to live in us and through us.

It’s time to live under the full nature of God! It’s time that be jealous of the things of God!

Don’t leave it up to someone else! Decree and declare victory! As it is in heaven so it is on the earth!

I am asking God to help me align scripturally and fully with Jesus for this time! I want to be as the sons of Issachar, who knew their time and season.

I want to walk in my legacy!
